Session Pricing
What it costs:
My prices per session for single person portraits or headshots start at $250.00 + Tax ($270.63). For more than one person, there is an additional charge of $125 per person, due to the extra time involved in shooting and processing more individual images of each person.
For couples (i.e., engagement, maternity, or a couple in love) there is no additional charge for the extra person since they are being photographed as a single unit.
I love including pet family members in my sessions. Pets do not add to the "person count" unless there is more than one pet involved. Then again, because of the extra effort in the session and the extra processing involved, there will be an additional $125 charge for each additional pet above one.
My sessions are not timed. Each one can take as long as we need. I want everyone's experience to be wonderful, and I never want anyone to feel rushed. There can be outfit changes, time to touch-up make-up, and of course, friendly chatter that comes along with the bonding that photography creates.
The session fee includes about 10 to 15 high resolution digital images. For separate purchase, I am able to also provide many types of photo products, including prints of all sizes, canvas prints, canvas gallery wraps, metal prints, acrylic prints, even framed prints. I can create keepsake photo boxes, cards, and several other products. All my prints have a protective lustre coating on them for a professional look that keeps them from fading over the years. Also, any print, 12x18 or larger is mounted on a hard thin backing to prevent the photo from warping in the frame. You can definitely print photos yourself cheaper, but I work with one of the top labs in the country, and their high-end quality is most certainly worth paying extra for. Although my on location sessions are rare, for the right circumstance and a beautiful location, my sessions outside the studio are $350.00.
